Board Implements New Strategy for Measure A Tax, April 14, 2017 by Peter J. Kampa, General Manager
At today’s special meeting of the Board of Director’s at the Saddle Creek lodge, the Board discussed and passed the following two resolutions. These resolutions will be put in place if Measure A passes on May 2nd.
First, the Measure A Limitation Resolution would engage the public in the decision about what type of landscaping will be installed at Saddle Creek. It ensures there will be a public process determining, when, how, and what will be planted.
Second, the Tax Implementation Resolution will add phases to the Measure A tax, allowing it to be implemented at a lower rate of $1300 for the year of 2018 and increasing incrementally after as determined necessary through public process to the amount detailed in the Measure.
