Encroachment Information

This section provides information on two different types of encroachments.

The first relates to encroachment permits associated with development on private property. Residents can find information on when an encroachment permit is required as part of a development project on their lot, along with the permit application and the encroachment review process.

The second relates to encroachments within the public right of way. This includes information on the encroachment ordinance that governs structures, improvements, and uses within public streets, sidewalks, and other right-of-way areas. Residents can also access a flyer explaining public right-of-way encroachments, as well as the standards and ordinances the District is required to enforce.
